DISM Imaging for Windows 11 – Part 2

Now you have the OS installed, the WDS Role installed what’s next? In the following we will be installing the ADK for Windows ll.

I always just search for the links to make sure I am getting the newest versions possible. In pervious versions the ADK was only 1 download now its 2 for what ever reason but you need them both. The ADK and Windows PE. Now that you have them downloaded on the server lets get them installed.

launch the ADK download first You have 2 options, I typically will do option one the default. I have used the other if I were building multiple WDS servers and did not want to wait on download but with modern speeds, it does not save that much time. Click Next.

Up to you here, I click Next

Click Accept

Again remember this is a toolkit and has a ton of other tools but I am only going to check the following. Feel free to explore the others, but in my years of using this tool I have only used these 2 tools. After making your selections, click INSTALL
